The Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Consortium (HMHB), hosted by the Micronutrient Forum, is a collective dedicated to raising awareness, driving policy change, and strengthening the implementation of women’s nutrition interventions. Poor maternal nutrition has long-term effects on families and communities, but HMHB works to break this cycle by advocating for increased access to multiple micronutrient supplementation (MMS) and other evidence-based solutions.
With over 100 member organisations and individuals, HMHB generates and shares evidence, engages in thought leadership, and leads advocacy efforts, including the successful 2021 inclusion of MMS on the WHO Essential Medicines List. By addressing barriers, convening leaders, and promoting improved maternal and child health outcomes, HMHB accelerates progress towards a healthier, more resilient future.
