We are Christians from different denominations, united in our mission to address the growing AIDS epidemic in our district.
All our projects, as well as the code of conduct developed by each action group, are based on Christian values such as respect, love, trust, and upholding confidentiality.
As Christians from different denominations, we are called to provide empathetic care, support, counselling, and unconditional love to those who are infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. We also strive to assist in the de-stigmatisation of the condition. Additionally, we are committed to offering young people quality education, guidance, and direction concerning human sexuality and a Christian lifestyle that empowers them to make informed, conscientious choices to prevent further infections.
We have 85 peer educators who teach the Tshepanang curriculum in 26 schools within the Ngaaka Modiri Molema, Ramotshwere Moilwa, and Ditsobotla District Municipalities. We organise awareness campaigns in our communities focusing on HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, and gender-based violence.
The Action Group operates two Early Learning Centres, which are registered under the NPO Tsibogang C.A.G. Tsibogang C.A.G. also runs the Tlamelang Project, which works with orphans and vulnerable children. Our home-based care programme traces patients and defaulters, reintegrating them into treatment.
We run five After-School Programmes, where our childcare workers assist learners with literacy and mathematics classes twice a week in different regions. Children in these programmes participate in Bible seminars, sports, and recreational activities.
We refer children with special needs to the appropriate departments and offer counselling services at our centres for all community members, including children in need of support.
One of Tsibogang C.A.G.’s projects, Are Ageng Morafe, establishes soccer teams in different regions to keep children away from substance abuse. Learners attending the After-School Programme receive a nutritional, healthy meal each day. We also provide school uniforms to children from disadvantaged homes.
To support our beneficiaries, we maintain four community garden projects, supplying fresh vegetables to disadvantaged households.
